Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies Releasing on June 24

Sega has announced the launch date for Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies which serves as a standalone multiplayer expansion of the game.

The expansion adds two new forces to the game, The US Forces and the German Oberkommando West to the award winning World War One RTS title.

Each faction has new infantry, weapons, vehicles, upgrades and unique abilities to help them win against their rivals. Alongwith the factions, the expansion also adds 8 new maps to the game, raising the total map number from 23 to 31 maps alongwith thousands of community created maps available on steam.

The game also adds an extended progression system allowing the players to dive deep into the tactical and strategic aspects of the game.

Fans have the option of purchasing either the US Forces or the German Oberkommando separately for $12.99 or the whole expansion for $19.99 alongwith the new maps. Anyone who Pre-ordered the expansion will receive two unique vehicle skins for each faction.

Company of Heroes 2: The Western Front Armies standalone multiplayer expansion pack will release on the PC via Steam on June 24th.
