NBA 2K15 Cover Athlete Is Oklahoma’s Kevin Durant

By   /   May 7, 2014

Today, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant won the MVP of the year award and just after that, 2K revealed the cover for their upcoming game in the yearly basketball franchise with Durant as the star of it.

On his new achievement, he seemed extremely excited and said on the phone conference that:

I begged them to put me on the cover. I really think nobody plays the game as much as I do.

He also revealed that he is a big fan of the series and likes to play My Player Mode the most as it feels so realistic.

Taking a guy through a season, getting drafted, sitting on the bench, becoming a starter, and trying to get better – I feel that’s how it is as a real NBA player.

2K’s NBA series usually puts a mode in the game that is related to the player on the cover. They did that with Michael Jordan and LeBron James, but it will be interesting to see what the developer has in store for us this time with Kevin Durant.

NBA 2K15 is scheduled to release for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on 7th of October later this year.
