Flappy Bird Inspired Retry In Development At Rovio, Trailer Inside

Angry Birds is by far one of the most played mobile game over the last few years but after years of success, mobile enthusiast are looking for fresher experiences which may explain the sudden popularity of games like Flappy Bird.

Knowing that, Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds is shifting focus to develop a game that has elements similar to Flappy Bird but improves the addictive formula by adding new features.

Retry, Rovio’s take on addictive mobile gaming will play a lot like Flappy Bird because every time you die in the game, it will force you to start from the very beginning.

In Retry, players will take control of a plane while performing different loop-de-loops to avoid the obstacles in the game. Rovio described it as:

From the guys sitting in the room next to the guys who made Angry Birds, comes RETRY: a game so hard, so addictive, so old school that you’ll think you’ve stepped into an 8-bit time machine.
