Guerilla Games Set to Reveal New IP For PS4, “1080p and Looks Amazing”

It seems Guerilla Games, the creators of the Killzone franchise and Shellshock: Nam ’67 is all set to reveal their new IP for Playstation 4. The announcement will be made this E3, if the tweets from well-known Industry insider, Tidux are to be believed.

The fact that the Sony Entertainment owned company has been working on a new IP is not really a news. The lead designer Eric Boltjes told Eurogamer back in 2013 that the studio was working on a new game which will be completely different from Killzone, something fresh.

According to Tidux’s twitter post, the new IP runs at “1080p and looks amazing”. This should actually not come as a surprise since the development company is owned by Sony itself, it’s only natural they would want to make sure the first party game release turns out to be beautiful.

Sony is pretty quiet about their content which is to be revealed on E3 2014 set to begin this June. In situations like these, it’s the information leaks by Industry insiders like Tidux which are to be relied upon. Tidux actually has a very good track record for revealing information which later turns out to be true. He leaked information about the PS4 OS and UI which turned out to be accurate, so it would be wise not to ignore this little piece of information by him.
