Pokémon Company Announces 2014 International Challenge, Are You Ready?
Pokémon games have been a part of so many childhoods and still the popularity of the game is on the rise and to keep the fans coming back to the game, Pokémon Company has announced that they will hold “2014 International Challenge May”, which is an online worldwide competition for the recently released Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
The challenge will allow anyone with the copy of X and Y game to participate in the tournament. The registration starts next Thursday on 8th of May while the last of registration will be 15th of May.
The tournament will officially begin on May 16th on Friday and stay on for the whole weekend ending on Sunday night.
This is what you have to do to get registered:
- To participate, you must first register for the competition at the Pokémon Global Link (PGL).
- Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the participant limit is reached, registration will be closed.
- No one can enter the competition after it has begun. You must register for the competition at the PGL during the registration period.
Total number of people that will be allowed to participate is 50,000 and the final rankings will be announced on 22nd of May.
Furthermore, there will be two separate divisions to accommodate the young and older players. The first one is called the Junior/Senior Division, which allows people to participate in the tournament, who were born after 1998 and the other division is named as Master Division that is for the players who were born before 1999 to participate.
