Games With Gold For May Offers Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saints Row: The Third

By   /   May 1, 2014

Microsoft’s Games with Gold program will be offering Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saints Row: The Third for free for the month of May.

From today, May 1, until midnight on May 15, Xbox Live members on the Xbox 360 can go ahead and download Dust: An Elysian Tail for free. The game will then be replaced by Saints Row: The Third and be available from May 16 to the end of the month.

Normally Dust retails for $14.99, while Saints Row: The Third costs $19.99. Even though no one can say no to free gifts, May’s offering is a good addition to the games library of Xbox users.

Games with Gold is a reward scheme that offers free games to Xbox Live Gold members every month. The program is similar and was introduced to combat Sony’s PlayStation Plus Instant Games Collection scheme.

Last year Microsoft decided to extend their scheme to 2014 and even introduce it to Xbox One. Lately there has been no update on when Xbox One owners can expect Games with Gold to hit their console.
