The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Listed for Xbox One Again, It’s Coming

By   /   Apr 29, 2014

The recent turbulence over at the official website of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had saddened many of the series fans. However, now it looks like the game’s Xbox One version has no problems and that it will be making its way to us along with the rest of the versions.

This is so because the Xbox One Marketplace has covertly listed the game for purchase on Microsoft’s latest console generation.

The page that has appeared on the Xbox Store overnight is letting you buy the game for a price of $59.99 (the standard price) at this very moment. What a good tiding for the release day of the game.

What happened previously was that the official website of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 removed all content related to the game’s Xbox One version. There were listings, preorder options and box arts for all the platforms that the game is now releasing to except the Xbox One version.

This had led to a fear that the Xbox One version of the game might have been delayed or worse, cancelled. This was narrowed down to change in the release plans of the game by Activision when a representative said so in a statement later on.

However, the listing of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on the Xbox One Marketplace shows the release date to be April 29, 2014 i.e. the originally planned release date for the game in North America – which also happens to be today.
