By   /   2 years ago

EA has announced today that this year’s installment in the Madden NFL series, Madden NFL 15, will officially release for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in North America on August 26, 2014. Those residing in Europe will have to wait out a couple of days to get their hands on a copy.

In a press release, EA claimed that the new Madden NFL 15 “delivers everything fans need to own their rivals on both sides of the field, including the most immersive defensive gameplay control in franchise history.” Additionally it will feature a new “broadcast presentation,” which will include new camera angles, as well as pre-game and halftime features.

The tradition of letting fans vote for the cover athlete will continue. EA has once again hooked up with ESPN to allow fans the opportunity to select which player they would like to be on the front cover of Madden NFL 15. Further details on that will be available on May 8 at 8 p.m. ET during the NFL Draft on ESPN and the NFL Network.

EA also released a short trailer starring Luke Kuechly, the Carolina Panthers’ defensive player of the year. The 30 seconds video teases Kuechly transforming into his digital self. The full length video has been set for a reveal in June.
