Injustice: Gods Among Us Getting a Sequel in 2015?

DC All Access at Wondercon created a lot of fuss for the fans of the Batman games when rumors started circulating that the Batman: Arkham Knight will be delayed to 2015. However, that was not the case at all.

According to Comic book movie, the announcement was not made for the next Batman game, instead it was for the next iteration in the Injustice franchise.

Prepare for the return of Injustice” was the statement at the end of the Arkham Knight trailer but a number of people were so excited to see the Batman video that they didn’t even see the end part. The statement of “not a 2014 title” was intended to announce the next game in the Injustice series.

However, apart from the release year, there isn’t any information available on the game and we don’t know who will be handling the next project in the series.

Injustice: Gods Among Us was released last year for almost all the major platforms in a 2D plane. However, all the character models and backgrounds of the game were completely rendered in the 3D fashion. Instead of having two rounds, the game featured one with two health bars, so that the match will have continuity.
