Microsoft released an Xbox One update a couple of weeks ago, which included new features that you can see in detail here. Now the Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer has announced that the company will be releasing new updates for the console in the coming months, and they are looking really good.

The announcement was made via Spencer’s twitter account, where he wrote:

However, he did not reveal anything related to the features that will be the part of upcoming updates but, in response to a question that asked if Microsoft would release an emulator for the classic Arcade games, Spence wrote:

Moreover, he mentioned that it is important to have smaller games on your platform in between the AAA titles, so that the fans will stay busy.

Regular updates are a good idea as it keeps bringing in new features to the console, which keeps the experience fresh for the fans. Although, Xbox One is lagging behind PS4 in terms of sales but Microsoft says that “this is a marathon, not a sprint and we know what we need to do.”
