Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Has Shipped Over 1 Million Copies
According to Konami, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has shipped more than 1 Million copies in just over a month of its release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One.
These sales figure include all the retail and digital copies that have been sold to the consumers. To celebrate this achievement, Konami has decided to remove all the restrictions from its platform exclusive content.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes received a lot of criticism from the fans because of its short campaign length and many people believed that that the developer was ripping people off with the $30 price tag for just a demo.
The game was released to get people ready for the upcoming game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise called The Phantom Pain, which is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2015.
In Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, you assume the role of Big Boss as you explore the Camp Omega to complete seven separate missions. The stealth mechanics have been completely revamped, now you will have the option to mark the targets before entering the facility, so that you stay aware of their movements all the time.
Furthermore, if you get spotted by an enemy then there is a short window, where time slows down so that you can take out that particular opponent before he sounds the alarm.
There is only one mission in the game but there are number of other ways you can try to complete it, so there’s a high replay value to the game.
Did you enjoy your experience in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes or were left disappointed due to its length?
