The Last of Us DLC Grounded Bundle Slated for May 6 Release

Naughty Dog has announced via Twitter that the upcoming DLC pack for The Last of Us, Grounded Bundle will release in the week starting May 5th in America and May 7th in Europe.

Grounded Bundle will be free to those who have purchased game’s Season Pass and will feature new multiplayer maps, an increased difficulty setting for single-player campaign, a couple of new weapons for multiplayer mode, and a new Trophy to earn.

The new Trophy comes packed with the Grounded Mode which can be earned by completing the single-player campaign at increased difficulty setting. The standalone Grounded Mode will cost players $4.99.

Along with this, the DLC will also include four multiplayer map packs in Reclaimed Territories pack. Worth $9.99, the multiplayer maps included are Wharf, Capitol, Coal Mine, and Water Tower.

And lastly, players will also get four new weapons – Specter Silenced Assault Rifle, Double-Barrel Shotgun, Enforcer Pistol, and an RPG – to use in multiplayer mode. Part of the Survivalist Weapons Bundle, this standalone weapon bundle will cost players $5.99.

The Grounded Mode will also be available in The Last of Us Remastered Edition headed to Playstation 4, but only in the shape of multiplayer maps and increased difficulty setting. Weapons and Survivalist Skills must be bought separately.

The ones who still haven’t bought the Season Pass should note that the Season Pass will no longer be available after May 13th.
