By   /   Apr 25, 2014

Dark Souls 2 PC version launched today alongside number of issues, but the game’s publisher Namco Bandai has already taken action and made an official support thread for the players, where the support staff will try to monitor the issues players are experiencing.

On the thread, developer stated that they are putting a lot of effort in fixing the issues that are being faced by the players, which include crashes, VAC and controller recognition problems.

However, the fix for the controller recognition has already been put up on the thread which you can also read below:

  • “Open up Device Manager and under Human Interface Devices, right click and disable all HID-compliant game controllers, and if you have a G13 disable the Logitch G13 Joystick. Restart the game and it should work.
  • You may also need to disable any virtual HID-compliant game controllers as well.” Thank you Megabound for the post.
  • If you continue to experience this issue, please get in touch with our support team and let them know what controller you are trying to use. We’ll do our best to assist you from there.
  • We will continue to update this space with more information on this issue.

Some other major issues reported by the players are also being handled, but the developers are demanding a detailed description of what exactly you are experiencing.

If you have any kind of question or if you are facing a problem, feel free to ask the support team and they will answer you as soon as they can.
