Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart Takedown Challenges Guide
Batman: Arkham Origins DLC ‘Cold, Cold Heart’ is not only about fierce one-on-one combat and aimlessly flying through the Gotham City. It is also about carefully minding your surroundings and completing a certain set of challenges to earn various Achievements/Trophies.
Batman: Arkham Origins Cold, Cold Heart Takedown Challenges
In this guide, I will be explaining how to complete different Takedown Challenges to earn Come out of the Cold, Stalactician, and Snowjob Achievements/Trophies.
Come out of the Cold
To complete this challenge, you need three ice wall Takedowns.
This challenge can be completed while fighting Mr. Freeze. Throughout the battle, activate your Detective Mode to spot the Ice Walls.
Once you spot the Ice Wall, lure an enemy near it by using your Batarangs and as soon as an enemy stands near the wall, press Y (Xbox 360 Controller) and perform a Takedown.
Rinse and repeat it three times to complete this challenge.
To complete this challenge, you need to Takedown two enemies using an Ice Stalactite
This challenge can only be completed If you have Thermal Suit at your disposal. After you have acquired the Thermal Suit, start the battle with Mr. Freeze.
As soon as the third wave of enemies appear, you will see four of them sweep past an Ice Stalactite. Time your Thermal-charge Batarangs and hit the Stalactite to takedown the guards. You only need to takedown only two of them so if you miss the other two, that should not be an issue.
To complete this challenge, you need to takedown three enemies with one Cryo burst.
Throughout your journey, you will come across goons holding Cryo-Tech weaponry. The beam itself can be avoided by jumping over the heads of the goons firing it.
Find some of these goons and wait for them to fire their weapons. As soon as they do that, leap over their heads and guide the beam to other goons. If you manage to do this successfully, the Achievement/Trophy should pop-up.
