Famitsu Awards 2013: Capcom Awarded Best Game Company

The Famitsu Awards 2013 were revealed a couple of hours ago and for players residing outside of Japan, they might come as a surprise.

Capcom might have lost its following in the West with poorly crafted titles, but Famitsu believes it to be worthy of the title of “Best Game Company” in view of its work with Monster Hunter 4; which was also picked as the Game of the Year.

Critically acclaimed titles like Grand Theft Auto V and Last of Us; that have been bombed with awards following their respective releases were not forgotten by the Japanese magazine and were categorized under “Outstanding Performance Awards.”

Luigi finally got something over his red plumber partner, and went home with the “Best Character Award.” The complete details of the awards are below:
