Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition Gets Candy Texture Pack

Mojang has released a new candy-themed texture pack for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition according to PlayXBLA.

Dubbed The Minecraft Candy Texture Pack, the DLC can be purchased on the Xbox Games Store for $1 to add several textures for various different materials as well as new skinpacks for players to choose.

Players can create objects like Ice Cream Bushes, Soda Rivers, Easter Eggs, Candy Golems, Lollipop Trees, Cake Stones, Chocolate and many other items.

Candy Texture Pack follows last year’s Marvel Avengers skin pack on Xbox 360 while PS3 version of the game received a skin pack which included character from many of Sony’s Franchises like Uncharted, Heavy Rain and Killzone.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition has sold more than 12 million copies since its launch in 2012. The PC version has sold more than 14 million units while the PS3 edition, which launched in December, has sold more than 1 million units.

Minecraft Candy Texture Pack is available for $1 / €0.95 / £0.65 and can be purchased now from Xbox Marketplace.
