Tales of Hearts R Arriving in NA and Europe This Winter
Tales of Hearts R is being released for the PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe this Winter, Namco Bandai announced today.
GameStop in North America will be holding exclusive rights for the retail version of the game; while the digital one can be downloaded off the PlayStation Store. There is no information on whether a similar deal has been made for Europe or that the physical copy will be available from every retailer.
Namco’s announcement came through a video that was uploaded before its expected date. It was taken down shortly after but not before the web got the meaty details. Tales of Hearts R was outed earlier this week through GameStop’s product listings. Seemingly Namco is having a hard time in announcing this game.
“Last year in 2013, I attended many events across the world and received lots of requests from fans to release Tales of Hearts R,” Tales series producer Hideo Baba said in a video message. “So we have been looking for a way to make it a reality and we have finally found it.”
Tales of Hearts R launched in Japan on March 2013 for the PlayStation Vita and later on for iOS. It is the HD Remake of the original Tales of Hearts title with 3D visuals, fully voiced dialogue, new events, new party members and improvements to the game overall.
