Diablo 3 Inspired ‘Devilian Online’ to Enter Open-Beta This July
Ginno Games has affirmed that their forthcoming MMORPG Devilian Online will enter open-beta phase in July, this year.
From the looks of it, Devilian Online looks like a free-to-play version of Diablo III along with some other elements taken up by popular RPG series like Pokémon and The Elder Scrolls Online.
At the end of last year, the game also entered a closed beta and many details about the gameplay mechanics surfaced. It is said that Devilian Online features a very linear quest system and players automatically move to next area after clearing out a particular area.
Taking up quests from NPCs is indeed very simple and players don’t have to travel back to NPCs after clearing the quest. There is also an auto-walk feature which lets characters reach their destination on their own. While talking about the novel features, the game also contains Devil-Transformation which transforms your character into devil having special abilities.
Currently, there are only three classes to choose from: Assassin, Warrior, and Wizard. However, we are hoping that more will be added in the upcoming open-beta. The PvP space is based on 1 vs. 1, 3 vs. 3, and 20 vs. 20 players in different locations.
Those of you planning on entering the open-beta should keep an eye out on NHN Hangame Korea’s official website. Although the website is in Korean, but that shouldn’t be a problem.
