What You Should Expect From Titanfall on Xbox 360
Bluepoint Games, the studio in charge of the development of the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, has confirmed that Titanfall on the 360 will include all content and features previously released for the Xbox One and PC versions.
Writing on the official Titanfall blog, senior producer of Bluepoint Daryl Allison exclaimed that “Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions.”
He continued saying that the game looks and plays great on the Xbox 360 with only the issue of limited FPS at hand. Due to the technical differences, Titanfall on the Xbox 360 will run just above 30fps; in contrast to the Xbox One where it runs at 60fps. Allison though assured that the game still looks great.
Originally Titanfall was planned to release simultaneously across the Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360. It though was delayed last month on the 360 and pushed back to March 25 to give Bluepoint “the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game.”
Allison confirmed that Titanfall will now officially release for the Xbox 360 on April 8; and that the extra development time put in will clearly show off to the players.
Prior to Allison’s comments, a video was uploaded on YouTube from Twitch user CityFlex that contains gameplay footage of the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall. You can watch that above, if it has not already been taken down.
