Pure Chess Coming to PS4 Next Week, Cross-Play is a Possibility
Developer VoFoo Studios has announced that they will be bringing their popular game ‘Pure Chess’ to the PlayStation 4 in just over a week.
The game has already been made for the PS Vita and PlayStation 3, so PS4 version shouldn’t surprise anyone.
The game will be in full HD 1080p with more than one hundred puzzles to solve for the players. The game provides a tutorial to help players understand a number of important techniques of Chess.
The best feature of Pure Chess has to be its playability across platforms. You can play the game on your android smartphone against someone with the Wii U, 3DS or iOS, but the players of Sony devices will have to wait a little bit until a new patch of the game is released to make the game playable with other platforms.
On this cross platform feature the developer said:
You can have other console players playing against Wii U players. You can have smartphone players play against them. No problem. We’re still talking to Sony about them relaxing their policies, but we don’t think they’ll have any issue with it.
Pure Chess has already been released for PS Vita, iPad, iPhone, iPod, Android, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U with PlayStation 4 version coming on 15th of April.
If you are an avid fan of chess, then this experience should not be missed.
