Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Seems like a Real Deal for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC
When Borderlands 2 was released back in September 2012, it satisfied every bit of craving that the fans had for the Vault Hunters. Now, there are reports suggesting Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, a game that will feature a young Handsome Jack doing what he does best, on a moon.
According to Game Points Now, the game is going to be called Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. It is going to be set after the events of original game but before the time of Borderlands 2; this is a five year gap where the co-op shooter, role playing game will play.
The report suggests that although Gearbox Software isn’t working on the next Borderlands game as announced by Randy Pitchford last month, 2K Australia is.
Borderlands 2 pre-sequel is apparently set on the moon of Elpis and Hyperions where Jack, who is nothing more than a ‘humble programmer’, is going to go after an alien artifact.
The Vault Hunters are going to be Athena The Gladiator, Wilhelm The Enforcer, Nisha The Lawbringer and Fragtrap. Some of them have made appearances in the past games.
Two new weapons are going to come out to play i.e. Laser weapons (expected as we are talking about a game set on a moon) and among the Cyro class guns.
Oh and you will be running on Oxygen, which will of course not be in abundance so you will be locating OX-Kits and managing your oxygen levels. This sounds like a whole new aspect of the game’s combat!
According to the rumors, there is no release date for the Borderlands 2 pre-sequel yet, and 2K Australia has refused to comment on the matter.
