Assassin’s Creed: Unity Receiving Parkour Treatment by Jesse La Flair

By   /   Apr 7, 2014

Ubisoft has Build the Assassin’s Creed games around Parkour moves and for their upcoming game the studio might be seeking a help of a Professional.

One of the users on Reddit named ‘ProfeshCamper’ has discovered a comment of a Professional Parkour athlete Jesse La Flair on a YouTube video, which suggests that horizontal wall run might be coming to Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

What if I told you I may or may not have worked on the NEXT AC and they may or may not have added the ability to Horizontal Wall Run in the game…

Jesse La Flair is one of the highly recognized Parkour athletes and is known for his stunts in numerous films. Ubisoft is a very committed developer and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they hired someone of his calibre to perform the capture videos for their upcoming title.

After so many Assassin’s Creed titles, the developers might be looking to add something fresh to the mix for the players. The credibility of this rumor can’t be questioned because La Flair himself specifically mentions the next Assassin Creed title, which confirms his contribution to the project.

But it will be considered as a rumor until an official word from Ubisoft is given or a new gameplay is shown that shows off the new tricks.

If you are unaware of La Flair or what horizontal climbing is, check out this YouTube Link.
