World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Enters Alpha
According to a blog post at Battle.net, Warlord of Draenor has entered the Alpha phase of testing.
Anyone who wants to take part in testing can do so by beta profile settings in their account for Battle.net.
Blizzard also announced that they will be releasing a new file format ‘Content Addressable Storage Container (CASC) during Alpha and Beta tests. This new format will provide improved support for the streaming of data and prevent data from corrupting.
Moreover, Blizzard released new patch notes for the alpha version. The new update will do some tweaks across multiple classes of the game. It will also add the Level 100 talents to the classes available in the game.
Draenor Perks are another addition coming in the update which can be obtained from Level 91 to 99. The original races of World of Warcraft will be improved, as now they will have better textures and animations.
Polygons count has also been increased and some new facial expressions have been added.
You can pre-order the Warlords of Draenor standard edition for $49.99 and deluxe edition for $69.99. The deluxe edition comes with a mount, a pet and you will have the option to boost the level of your character to 90.
Warlords of Draenor will be available to play at PAX East 2014 next weekend.
