Assassin’s Creed: Unity Leaked Screenshot Offers a Post-Alpha Look

By   /   Apr 4, 2014

Earlier today an alpha build gameplay video of Assassin’s Creed Unity was leaked on YouTube. Before it got taken down, Redditor wq0326 managed to get a few screenshots which he later posted on Reddit. That was followed by an enhanced version of the screenshot showing up on NeoGaf later.

So far we have only been able to see the game in its alpha build, thanks to leaked content that ultimately forced Ubisoft to officially announce the game with a similar alpha build trailer.

In the screenshot we see the new Protagonist standing in the streets of Paris in normal attire, probably before he becomes an assassin. The protagonist’s name is rumored to be Arnaud/Arno but further details about his Pre-Assassin life are still a mystery.

Given how most Assassin’s Creed settings go, Arnaud/Arno is expected to be on the side of the French Revolution but given how the Assassins play a ‘supplementary’ role in every Assassin’s Creed one cannot exactly put Arnaud/Arno on any side without more information.

Ubisoft is said to be working on two Assassin’s Creed titles with intention of releasing a new title annually. Assassin’s Creed: Unity is the fifth title in the Assassin’s Creed and will release on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 in Q4 2014.
