Gameloft to Bring 3 of Their Best Games to Amazon Fire TV
The mobile games developer Gameloft has revealed that they are going to release three of their best titles (Despicable me 2, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour and Asphalt 8: Airborne) for the Amazon Fire TV.
Vice President of Gameloft Baudouin Corman said in a press release:
With Amazon’s broad consumer base and quality reputation in the market, it made sense to optimize some of our top games for Fire TV. This collaboration broadens the reach of our games, allowing us to bring even more high-quality content to the consumers’ living room.”
Asphalt 8: Airborne was showed at the reveal event of Amazon Fire TV yesterday in New York where Amazon promised the fans that there will be more than 100 games available on the device upon its release.
The Amazon Fire TV will cost $99 and the game can be played with the controller which costs additional $39.99.
Just after one day of its reveal, so many great games have already been announced for the platform and the average cost of the games on the device will be just $2.
The users will be able to use the device for games, apps, movies, photos and TV. Furthermore, it will be able to stream content at 1080p and provide Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Surround Sound.
Amazon Fire TV is scheduled to ship today and go against the likes of Apple and Google in the market. If you are interested, you can pre-order the device from the Amazon’s website.
