Now that the MLB 14 PS3 version and PS Vita version is out, fans with the latest generation of consoles will be eyeing the MLB 14 PS4 version that is bound for release in May. GameStop has stepped up to sweeten the deal for you.
If you are a PowerUp Rewards member and wish to trade in a PS3 version of the game, you will get the latest gen version for just 20 bucks. The official announcement was made through a press release that reads:
PowerUp Rewards members that want to upgrade from the PS3 version of the game to the PS4 version upon release, a trade-up program is being offered. PowerUp Rewards members can receive the PS4 version for $19.99 when they trade-in the PS3 version purchased from GameStop toward their purchase.
This comes in addition to an offer for all the players who wish to pre-order either the PS3, PS Vita or PS4 version of the game; upon pre-ordering, the players will get $20 worth of in-game cash (stubs).
Moreover, everyone who wishes to trade in anything (ranging from games, consoles, smartphones and tablets) towards MLB 14 will get up to 30 percent additional in-store credit. If you happen to be a PowerUp Rewards Pro member you will get another 10 percent.
