Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light Spotted for Xbox One and PS4 on Italian Website

Now don’t go cheering already. Nothing has been confirmed. However, we have stumbled upon a couple of images that show what looks like Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light Xbox One version as well as PlayStation 4 version.

What actually happened is that an Italian website called Everyeye.it posted two images that show off a reworked title for Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light named Metro Redux. This game is apparently going to go live on PC, Xbox One and PS4 in July this year.

What it actually is a bundle that will combine the two titles in one bundle along with a Day One DLC, a soundtrack, some new packaging and art cards. The images in question list series creator 4A as the developer and Deep Silver as the publisher.

All the detail does make it sound somewhat legit but it would be wise to put the news over at the rumor pile until official word is received. So far, none of the companies have confirmed or denied the news. The images have been taken down now.

Metro 2033 is a title from 2010 that was released to PC and Xbox 360, its sequel Metro: Last Light was released to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC last year – none of the games have been made for the latest generation of consoles.
