Reveal of Devil’s Third Teased With a New Logo by Itagaki

Valhalla Game Studios’ first project, Devil’s Third was announced back in 2010 but new information has suggested that the game will be officially and finally revealed soon.

Tomonobu Itagaki, who is famous for Dead or Alive and revival of Ninja Gaiden has teased a new logo for the game and his plans of the reveal at the long last.

Itagaki used his Facebook profile to tease the newly made logo couple of hours ago. The caption for the image reads:

Devil’s Third. As already announced, we’ll finally reveal “Devil’s Third” this year! You can see that we’ve upgraded our title logo. I wanted to go for the metallic feeling of the Breitling that I love so much. But I don’t really wanna tell you exactly why, sorry.

Devil’s Third was originally planned for a release in early 2013 but was delayed when THQ dropped it owing to unexpected costs that were required for making the engine on which the game was to be developed.

It was then that Itagaki got the rights for the game transferred to his own studio in Japan.

In May last year, he had stated that the game was pretty well along with the development. It was also shared that the gameplay of Devil’s Third will ‘surprise’ everyone as it was being built ‘Itagaki-style.’

The costs for making the game have also been talked about quite a lot and the developer himself accepted how large the cost was:

I’ve made more than 30 games, and if you put a little bit more [money] into the one I’m making now, Devil’s Third, I could make all of the 30 games I made before. That’s the big difference. The budget you use for the promotion is completely different too.

How many of you are pumped up for Devil’s Third?
