EverQuest Next Landmark Gets New Screenshots Including Eiffel Tower
EverQuest Next Landmark beta testing phase began yesterday, giving room to SOE to boost about the game by sharing the in-game creations with those eagerly anticipating the game.
We have seen some pretty awesome stuff being created by users every now and then but guess what the developer is showing off this time, Eiffel Tower itself.
Five new screenshots have surfaced from EverQuest Next Landmark that show Eiffel Tower along with other pretty astounding creations. One of the screenshots shows hot air balloons, another one has something that looks like a Chinese pagoda and then there is a pretty crafty bridge.
The game is already quite scenic and these new screenshots only make us feel better about it.
Moreover, the game was recently renamed to just Landmark by Sony Online Entertainment. This was announced through the official forums as the beta session started:
The game is no longer called EverQuest Next Landmark. We are now just Landmark. You may be asking, “Why the change?” Answer: To a lot of people, having EverQuest in the name immediately implies a fantasy game. Landmark is anything you can imagine. Removing EverQuest Next seemed the best. This doesn’t change anything we’ve said about Landmark or EverQuest Next. All the details of the games are still the same. We’re still using Landmark to build EverQuest Next – and we’ll still have areas dedicated to EQN.
How many of you have been playing EverQuest Next Landmark, or just Landmark as it is now officially called?
