Kalypso Media has released a new cinematic trailer for Tropico 5, which shows off the fateful day when the dictator takes control of the islands of Tropico in the colonial period.

The trailer uses one of the most popular dialogues from the first Pirates and Caribbean’s movie. There are a lot of new features added to Tropico 5 to enhance the experience of the players. The game will be bringing a new co-operative and competitive multiplayer mode to the traditional Tropico games for the first time.

Up to four players will be given a chance to participate in building the best possible island. Players will be given a choice to either help each other or completely demolish them. All of the trading, research, exploration and renovation features have been worked on and are completely refurbished.

There are also inclusions of multiple Eras in the game which will let you travel from 19th to the 21st century. With different eras, you will be able to discover new technologies and research as the time moves on. New unique buildings that will suit all three eras have also been added.

Another Tropico 5 feature called “Dynasty” will let you appoint your family members on the key leadership positions available throughout the island.

Tropico 5 is scheduled to release sometime this summer for the Xbox 360, PS4, Linux, Mac and PC.
