inFamous: Second Son Comes Out on Top on UK Charts for the 12th Week

By   /   Mar 24, 2014

The top 40 PAL Charts (GFK Chart Track) for Week 12, 2014 are out and inFamous: Second Son has taken the crown by dethroning Electronic Arts’ Titanfall.

inFamous: Second Son is said to be the second biggest Playstation 4 release which lags behind Killzone: Shadow Fall.

It debuts as the second biggest week 1 PS4 new release, behind ‘Killzone: Shadow Fall’ which was of course the major launch title for PS4 back in week 48, 2013 (debuted at No. 4 on the All Formats).

The title which has surprised me the most is Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (Playstation 4) by securing 2nd position. Despite of all the criticism regarding price point, being a prologue, and game length; it has still managed to secure the 2nd place by replacing Titanfall (Xbox One Version).

You will also see some unexpected positions. For instance, though almost every version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has managed to obtain a reasonable position, the Xbox 360 version comes out at 17th position. Other than this, the PC version of Titanfall has dropped down from 8th position to reach 22nd on the chart.

Games like Dark Souls II, South Park: The Stick of Truth and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster have still managed to remain in top 10.

And finally the biggest downward leap is made by Thief (Xbox One Version) which has dropped down by 15 positions.

Check out the complete list below and let us know of your impressions!
