New Nintendo eShop Games Get Release Windows; Spike 1001, Shovel Knight Included

Although the arrival of numerous Nintendo Wii U and 3DS titles has been blemished by delays, there still are a lot of games that we have kept our eyes fixated on. Among these are quite a few new Nintendo eShop games that are now expected to come out sometime this year.

Now, Nintendo of America has finally given more precise release windows for at least 17 of their upcoming download titles for 3DS and Wii U.

Among the list of games is Spike 1001 which is also being developed for Xbox One under the ID@Xbox program.

It already had an expected release window of Q1 and since the first quarter of this year is about to end, we can assume it will be upon us in a couple of weeks. This was at the same time when Shovel Knight had received a release date of March 31.

Both of the games above are coming for 3DS as well as Wii U.

Apart from them, there are 11 new Nintendo eShop games for the Wii U and 4 new Nintendo eShop games for 3DS. Here’s the list of games:

  • Wooden Sen’SeY — February
  • Ittle Dew — February / March
  • Ballpoint Universe — 18th March
  • Armillo — 24th March

  • Squids Odyssey — March
  • Monkey Pirates — Q1
  • Teslagrad — March / April
  • QUBE Director’s Cut — April
  • Assault Android Cactus — Q2

3DS eShop

  • Siesta Fiesta — March
  • Moon Chronicles — March
  • Treasurenauts — May
  • Shantae And The Pirate’s Curse — Q1
