Battlefield 4 Naval Strike Hits Premium Users on March 25
Good news for the premium users of DICE’s latest first person shooter. The release date of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC has been announced. As per the promise made by the developer, the premium users will get an early access to the game and it will be in five days time.
The official website of battlefield has listed March 25 as the release date of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike for premium users. This includes users from all the platforms that the game has been released to i.e. Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
For those of you who don’t know what the third DLC of Battlefield 4 will bring, here’s a rundown on the contents of the pack. It includes four new maps including Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker and Operation Mortar.
Other than this, there will be five new weapons and 3GL which is a grenade launcher for the Assault class. There will also be an anti heli mine that will disable aircrafts.
More importantly, the DLC is supposed to introduce the Hovercraft vehicle that, in the words of DICE, will let you “travel seamlessly between land and water, and take insane shortcuts to get the upper hand in the naval battles.”
Lastly, the Carrier Assault mode will be introduced to the game which brings back memories of Battlefield 2142. Your objective will be to down a carrier:
Homage to Battlefield 2142’s Titan mode, the Carrier Assault mode challenges you to bring down a huge aircraft carrier of the enemy team by launching missiles.
Battlefield 4 Naval Strike will be released to non-premium players sometime after the March 25 release, I am guessing sometime in early April.
