Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero DLC to be Taken Down on March 31

By   /   Mar 19, 2014

If you have been fond of the music rhythm games of Activision, you will be sad to know that they are taking down all the downloadable content for the three titles by the end of this month. All three games i.e. Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero DLC will be pulled from the servers.

The official Facebook page of all three of the games is still alive and kicking which is why the developers chose to announce the decision over there. A post that was made yesterday reads:

Sad to say that the downloadable songs for the Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero games, and the Guitar Hero mobile game will no longer be available after March 31, 2014. The Guitar Hero servers will stay online and any previously purchased downloadable content is unaffected by this change. We want to thank all of you for supporting Guitar Hero over the last nine years. To celebrate this great community, selected songs and tracks will be available for as much as a 50% discount on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii from now until the end of the month. For more information, please visit the store on your console.

Other than this, the image that came with the post on Guitar Hero website has also announced that selected tracks for all three of the music games will be discounted for up to 50 percent until March 31.

Get all the tracks onto your consoles before the time runs out.

How many of you have been spending your time with Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero?
