Find Dark Souls 2 Death Count, Around 12 Million Lives Lost Already

By   /   Mar 14, 2014

From Software’s insanely ruthless game released only a couple of days ago and it is breaking the already high expectations regarding how easy it is to die in the game.

For instance, the total number of Dark Souls 2 death count rose to two million on the first day, four million on the second and now to a mind-boggling 12 million figure!

The source of this information is none other than the merciless action RPG itself; according to NeoSeeker, there is a plaque in the game that lets you check how many lives have been lost in the land of Dranglaec so far.

The plaque comes bearing an intelligible inscription which could mean anything. You may see it above.

Previously, a website had sprung up that allowed you to find out how many times you had died in Dark Souls, all you had to do was submit your save files and the result would show you the statistics. Looks like the phrase ‘you died’ is all the rage since Dark Souls 2 has released.

Since the number of times that people die in the game tends to be a lot higher than the usual games you play; I reckon a little guidance would be helpful. If you wish to know more about the achievements and trophies, how to survive against the bosses, become a master of hexes and a lot more, you have come to the right place.

Dark Souls 2 was released to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on North America on March 11, 2014 and in Japan on March 13, 2014; the game releases in the PAL region today i.e. March 14, 2014.

What would be your Dark Souls 2 death count approximately? Let’s see who died the least.
