Forza Horizon Sequel Concept Art Emerges at Artist’s Website

By   /   Mar 13, 2014

Forza Horizon was released back in October 2012 to impressive scores, and we have been hearing rumors about a Forza Horizon sequel since a while after that.

The speculation was reignited recently by an artist who posted two concept art images hinting at the game’s return.

Sumeet Surve, an artist who has worked on earlier installments in the Forza series posted two images titled Forza Deep South – you can see one of them above and the other at the end of the story, as they have now been removed from the artist’s website.

Surve works at Dhurva Interactive, a studio that has previously been involved in the development of Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Horizon.

Although they have not been the lead development studio for either of the games, they have worked in collaboration with Turn10 Studios.

Obviously, it is only a speculation that the images would really mean something regarding the future of the game, but the artist’s past experience does give the news some credit.

As far as the official word on the matter is concerned, Microsoft has simply denied commenting on the matter by saying “we do not comment on rumor or speculation”.

From the looks of it, the cars in the images are being driven through the outskirts of the southern areas of United States. This surely feels like a Forza Horizon sequel, but we will have to wait for an official word before jumping to conclusions.
