Dark Souls 2 Pyromancy Locations ‘Master of Pyromancy’ Guide

Pyromancy spells in Dark Souls are for short or mid-range battles, require Pyromancy Flame to cast them. They do not require intelligence or faith because they can be empowered through Pyromancy Flame, which can be upgraded to increase the damage output of each spell.

The power of your Pyromancy spells depends on which Pyromancy Flame you have equipped and how much hollowed you have become. Considering how most of the Pyromancy spells are fire based, you need to be careful of the enemies that are fire resistant.

One downside (a month and a half later) is it gets notibly weaker when human and as you hollow more it becomes better.

      • DrakeBakes

only if you use the dark pyromancy flame. It has a modifier for being hollow that the normal version does not.

I found toxic mist. Didn’t trade for it

I’d really have liked to see the return of at least some NPCs from the previous games. For example, the Sisters of Chaos could have been expanded into a really awesome side quest.
Instead all I’ve seen (thus far) is a possible return of Ornstein.

The story and setting is also a bit incoherent compared to DS I, although the gameplay is better :)

There is also a Dark Pyro flame with S Flame Scaling and becomes stronger the more hollow you are. If you buy the cat ring from the cat merchant in Majula it will allow you to survive the drops down the big hole in the center of town through a door way near the bottom you will find a bonfire. Rush through this new area and make it to the boss which is a horde of rats with a leader, this can easily be beaten with a good stack of Holy Water acquired from the Blue Sentinels leader. After he is defeated rush through to the next area “The Depths”. This place is pitch black and will be tricky but the Dark Pyro Flame is on the edge of one of the left hand, facing away from bonfire towards the level, shacks. This is very tricky to do but this is the absolute earliest way to get a Pyro flame I managed it at around SL20.

        • Mr.Sixes

Yes if you level int you’ll see “fire bsd” will raise up sometimes
