Titanfall Unlocks and Progression Guide – How to Rank/Level Up Fast

By   /   Mar 11, 2014

Unlike popular FPS, Call of Duty, ranking up in Titanfall is restricted to Level 50. Progressing through each level requires a certain amount of XP which can be gained via number of ways; I’ll talk about it later in the guide.

Anyway, just like every other FPS out there, ranking up not only increases your rank (pretty obvious) but also, it unlocks Titan & Pilot weapons, weapon Loadouts, challenges, ordinance, & Burn Cards.

Read on to find a complete breakdown of how ranking up works in Titan & how much XP you require to reach a Level 50. For more help on Titanfall, read our Generation Progression, Burn Cards and Pilot Tips Guide.

How to Rank Up Fast
Ranking up in Titanfall is same like in other FPS out there. Killing Pilots, Minions, Titans, & completing objectives grant you with XP which is accumulated over time to increase your rank. The options in Titanfall are not limited & there are tons of ways using which you can level up pretty quickly.

Minions are AI controlled soldiers which can be found roaming the battlefield. These creatures are pretty dumb and can be killed in an instant. Killing a minion awards you with bonus XP along with unlocking new weapons & completing challenges.

Fun Fact: You can step up on minion while in a Titan for an instant kill.

Furthermore, minions are found in clusters & spawn near their team’s Pilot spawns. Observing the map carefully and knowing the enemy spawns gives you a huge advantage over your opponents which increases your chances of killing Pilots & earning additional XP.

Unlike minions, Pilots are human-controlled soldiers and are more agile & powerful than minions. Since Pilots are relatively harder to kill, they tend to provide more XP for killing them. Use enemy minions to know the spawns of enemy Pilots and catch them off-guard.

Killing Titans award you with the highest amounts of XP. Titans are large robots that are dropped from the sky. They are pretty hard to kill even with a Titan but their lack of agility & enormous size make them an easy target for Pilots.

Fun Fact: You can call in your Titan on enemy Titan for an easy Titan kill.

While you’re going one-on-one with an enemy Titan & it manages to empty your HP, you’ll be shot in the air. If this thing happens, try & jump on top of the enemy Titan to open its hatch & take your revenge.

Burn Cards gives your Pilot a huge advantage before the match is started. A Pilot can take upto 3 Burn Cards in a match and their effect doesn’t wear off until the Pilot is dead or the match ends.

These Cards gives Pilots advantages like more powerful weapons, unlimited Cloak ability, and other things like this. Some of these Burn Cards allow you to gain additional XP for each kill which accumulates XP much faster.

Burn Cards should be used wisely as these are a sure short way to earn extra XP.
