Even after a mediocre Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Konami is budgeting to develop seven major titles for this fiscal year. Not only that, the company wants to do the same by the end of the third quarter of next year.

The company made this announcement today with their financial report by David Gibson. Konami revealed the fiscal results for their last nine months which ended on December 31, 2014.

The company showed better progress than previous year, games like Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 did really well and the app content for the mobile devices which included Star Wars: Force collection also worked really well for the company.

Konami Report states:

As for computer and video games, we will focus our efforts on continued global development utilizing the production know-how of the Konami Group, while also continuing the production of content for selected 9 existing titles, and continue to strive towards producing hit titles by leveraging existing content.

Based on this strategy, we plan to release the latest title in the Metal Gear series, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, worldwide with multiple platforms including the next-generation consoles, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. In addition, we intend to release new games in the popular series Professional Baseball Spirits 2014 and New Loveplus Plus.

There you have it, more content from Konami Digital Entertainment will make its way to the consumers on different platforms. Konami just released Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 on February 25th while Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be released on March 18th, 2014.
