Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Has 50-minutes of Never Before Seen Anime Footage
This year’s 15th issue of Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that Naruto Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will feature a total of 50 minutes of brand new anime footage animated by Studio Pierrot.
As exciting as it may sound, that isn’t even the juiciest part of the story. For all you Hardcore fans out there, a never before seen story about Akatsuki is going to be revealed in the game.
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is going to feature new gameplay mechanics, including the new “Combination Jutsu attacks”. These unique attacks allow players to combine other attacks for the creation of more powerful techniques. The game is also going to be featuring more than a 100 unique playable characters from both the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime.
Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is being developed by Cyber Connect 2 and it is scheduled to be released in North America and Europe in 2014 with Japan getting it next year.
One of the interesting new characters is Mecha Naruto, featured at the top of this post. The new character designed by Kishimoto has a two stage awakening – a three tails transformation followed by a Mecha Kuruma transformation.
Not only that, the game features an original story involving Mecha-Naruto.
