While an official release date is still pending, the Playstation Vita version of Borderlands 2 is rumored to possibly appear on April 15, 2014. According to the Dell website, the handheld port would release that day.
Some things are speculated to line up with this date. For instance, April 15 falls on a Tuesday, which is the common release day for Playstation releases in North America.
Moreover, the PS Vita version would land on the same day as the final piece of downloadable content (DLC) for Borderlands 2. Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax has its DLC take place on an abandoned island, where Vault Hunters try to rescue the titular character.
