Battlefield 4 Patch Breaking Spawns, Fix Rumored to Release Tommorow
Recent PC update for Battlefield 4 is broken resulting in players inability to respawn after death. According to rep from DICE team, earlier today, server update R-20 was applied to the PC version of Battlefield 4.
Although the change notes have not been published yet, the players are already reporting huge bug in the update which does not allow players to respawn after their death.
On Reddit, a server administrator named “Epilieno” listed few of the bugs that are players are facing in the latest update:
- Players unable to spawn after they died.
- Not showing scores on kills and capping flags.
- Player crash to desktop when this happens.
According to the rumor, a new update R21 might release tomorrow, which would likely resolve these issues. Meanwhile, an official warning is currently visible on the Battlelog urging users affected by the bug to update their Punkbuster files.
Additional reports from the players have confirmed that this method is working for them.
