2K Games Attracts Gamers With Xbox Live Sale on XCOM, BioShock, and More
Ah January, the month where many are desperately trying to initiate or carry out their new year’s resolution. Noticed how I said trying.
Gamers will be trying to keep a lid on that money hose, but the devil in 2K Games is giving us an offer for the Xbox Live that is hard to overlook, with a galore of games and DLCs on sale for all those who adore the company’s titles.
There has been a noticeable reduction in the price of many of the games from 2K, and most of them are excellent games, so you can pick any one and you won’t be sorry about it at all. Oh wait, I take that back, you’ll be very sorry if you pick up Duke Nukem Forever. Just. Don’t.
Titles worth recommending are the BioShock games (if you haven’t played them), and last year’s brilliant XCOM: Enemy Within strategy reboot, which, in my humble opinion, was much underrated despite its great reviews. And oh, don’t forget its expansion Enemy Within.
Here’s a list of most of the offerings, and the associated prices in both Pound Sterling and US Dollars:
- Bioshock 1 – £3.74/$4.99
- Bioshock 2 – £3.74/$4.99
- Bioshock 2: Minerva’s Den – £1.68/$2.49
- Borderlands 2 – $9.89
- Duke Nukem Forever – £4.99/$4.99
- Mafia II – £3.74/$4.99
- Spec Ops: The Line – £4.99/$7.49
- WWE 2K14 – £26.79/$40.19
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown – £16.99/$13.59
- XCOM: Enemy Within – £14.99/$19.99
You can read the original post by NeoGAF user Vert Boil (don’t you just love the keen observations of a gamer?), as there is also some speculation of a reduction in price of the BioShock Infinite DLCs.
