Recently, Steam statistics were posted on the NeoGAF forum, which allegedly would reveal a number of new games coming to the digital distribution site. This list would include previously unannounced titles. We’ll list the notable projects below:
Killing Floor 2
Half Minute Hero 2
Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate HD
Some Xbox exclusive titles, Battleblock Theater and Happy Wars, may find their way onto Steam. Similarly, Half Minute Hero 2 may finally get a western release, being previously launched in Japan as Yūsha 30 Second on PSP.
One of the more surprising rumors, however, would be the addition of Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate HD. This would speculate that the handheld exclusive, originally bound to 3DS and PS Vita, would be one in the line of many to be adapted for the bigger platforms. Previously, the PS Vita game Assassin’s Creed III Liberation was given a port onto Steam as well.
For an anticipated new release, we can turn to Killing Floor 2. This popular multiplayer shooter is still being populated by thousands of people every day on Steam. Tearing up zombies and other nasty monsters is always fun.
Among the list, there are also a few cryptic unannounced projects, so there’s always something to get excited about. Also, it’s heartwarming to see people play games that were canceled from Steam, like the multipayer game Breach, which was removed in 2011. It had a peak of 19 visitors; that’s nice.
Daav has been playing games since Atari was a thing and still likes games that look old, but also new stuff. There's no allegiance to platforms or genres; anything big and small can make a good game. This gives him a ton of perspectives to write about.
