Max: The Curse of Brotherhood Evil Eye Locations Guide
The Curse of Brotherhood is a 2.5D side-scroller developed by Press Play for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game features 75 Evil Eyes that can be found and destroyed; scattered throughout the seven chapters in the game.
The game automatically saves data when you destroy an eye. In case, you miss one by chance, you can always replay the chapter, destroy the eye, and quit the game; without completing it.
Destroying all the Evil Eyes is a good idea IF you’re planning on earning some extra Gamerscore. Finding and destroying all Evil Eyes unlock the following Achievements:
- What Are You Looking At? = 5G
- No Peeking! = 25G
- Eye Bye Bye = 50G
- Kingdom of the Blind = 75G

Chapter #1 – Sea of Sand
Evil Eye #1
Location: The first eye can be found lying on a platform in plain sight.
Evil Eye #2 and #3
Location: Soon after the plucking the first eye, follow the path and you’ll see a gigantic face having 2 Evil Eyes in its eye-sockets. Draw a pillar to reach the first platform and then destroy it.
Draw one more pillar to reach the higher platform and destroy it too. Now, push the small block to the edge so that you could reach the eyes and pluck them.

Location: You’ll come across 2 Spikesters in an area. Look directly above you near the second Spikester to spot the eye.

Keep on following the path and you’ll spot the next eye on a heightened platform. Draw a pillar to reach a smaller platform and destroy it. Draw another pillar of the same height as the platform containing the eye and you will get it.
Chapter #1 – Black Rock Canyon

Location: Just as the chapter starts, you’ll have a cross a large gap to get to the other side. Build a pillar, jump on it, and drop down to find the eye right in front of you.

Location: After solving the rocks puzzle, jump on the quicksand and draw a pillar on your location to reach a heightened platform containing the eye.
Evil Eye #8
Location: During the sequence with 2 Spikesters and a crate, you’ll see the eye on a raised platform. You can reach the eye by simply getting the Spikester out of your way; by drawing a pillar.

Location: Soon after collecting the last eye, you’ll climb a rope to get to a higher platform. Jump across the small gap and reach the platform containing the eye.
Chapter #1 – The Crossing

Location: While running from the Henchman, you’ll come across a swinging rope. Jump on the first rope and swing on the second rope to reach the platform.

Location: After collecting the previous eye, head to the next area, climb a rope and instead of going right, turn left and grab another rope to get the eye.
Evil Eye #12
Location: You’ll get to an area with a crate and 2 quicksand spots. Push the crate to a quicksand spot and build a pillar to reach the eye.
Evil Eye #13
Location: After collecting the Eye #12, you’ll swing a rope and reach a new area. Swing the rope and instead of jumping on the pillars in front of you, drop down and grab the eye off your right side.
Chapter #2 – Roots

Location: Run through all the 4 traps and jump onto a swinging rope. Swing to your left and pluck the eye of a small wooden platform.

Location: The eye will be in a cavity near the spot from where you could produce a branch. Jump over the 2 platforms and create a branch. Hop over the branch and drop down to get the eye.
Evil Eye #16
Location: Once you discover about the creating the branches, drop down near the claw pit and you’ll see the eye attached to a wall. Draw the branch and walk over it to collect the eye.
Chapter #2 – Into the Wild

Location: When you reach the claw pit in this area, draw a pillar right in the center of the pit and create a branch from your right. Let this branch fall down and walk over it to the next eye.
Evil Eye #18
Location: After taking out the Bomber and the Henchman near the claw pit, stand over the quicksand and draw the pillar to its full length to get the eye of a wooden platform.

Location: After crushing the Henchman with a trap, go all the way back to a small shack to get the next eye; near some barrels.
Evil Eye #20
Location: You’ll have to cut down a tree in order to reach the next eye. Once you’ve cut down the tree, jump on it and create a pillar underneath it. This will raise the tree so that you can jump on the swinging rope and get the eye.

Location: While running underneath the bridge, go to your left and step on the large stone-square. Draw a pillar below the stone to reach the eye.
Chapter #2 – Father Oak

Location: Just as the chapter starts, create a circular branch and push it to the quicksand. Hop over the branch and draw the pillar below to reach the eye.

Location: After climbing over the tree, head to your left and you’ll spot the eye.

Location: After you’re told about connecting a vine to a branch, jump across the large gap and create a branch in a straight line to get the eye off the tree trunk.

Location: Take out the gigantic troll and hop over the ledge to get the next eye.
Chapter #2 – Tomb of the Giants

Location: You’ll see a Henchman below you at the beginning of the chapter. Create a swinging vine, a tree branch, and jump over the branch.
Another Henchman will jump on the branch, jump back to the vine and destroy the branch to let the Henchman fall down. Create the branch again and get the eye.

Location: Once you get inside the tomb, push the large skull to reach the eye.

Location: When you reach the fire pit area, create a vine and connect it to a branch to get on a ledge with the eye.

Location: After collecting the previous eye, drop down and connect a vine to a pillar. Once you get to the ledge with a large skull, jump on it and grab the eye.
Evil Eye #30
Location: The area where you will see skull pillars lined against each other has the next eye. Combine a vine and a branch to reach the higher area where the eye is located.
Chapter #3 – Lost in the Dark

Location: While in the first tunnel, cross the gap and instead of going to your right, climb up and you’ll spot the eye to your left.

Location: To get this, you’ll have a create quite a large pillar followed by pushing a stone block to your right and hop over 2 dark ledges to get the eye.

Location: You’ll have to swing your way to the next eye which will be attached to the roof. Create a branch and jump over it to get the eye.

Location: When you come across the 2 pillars, make your way to the right. Pull the large stone and crawl under the rocks to create a branch. Jump over the branch and reach the eye.

Location: After avoiding the claws section, drop down and create a pillar to reach the top. Once you’re at the top, draw a vine to collect the eye.
Chapter #3 – Lantern Bugs

Location: Once you’ve trapped a few Lantern Bugs, you will see 2 ledges; once containing the eye. Create a vine so that it goes all the way over the first ledge. Grab the vine, jump over the first ledge, and then hop over the second ledge to get the eye.

Location: After the large log breaks, create a vine to your left and jump over it. Once the log completely falls, create a branch that will lead you to the eye.

Location: Very soon after plucking the previous eye, you’ll be able to create 2 branches. Create the first one to trap the bugs and the second one to reach the next eye.

Location: Once you get to the next section, create a long vine to trap the bugs and drop a branch on them. You’ll be able to walk over the branch to the next eye.

Location: This one is really easy to spot; just create a branch after plucking the previous eye and you’ll get to it.
Chapter #3 – Sliding Escape

Location: After getting rid of the troll, draw a pillar followed by creating a branch to reach the eye.

Location: After receiving the previous eye, cross the pit and create a branch to reach this one.

Location: Go all the way to the opposite area of the previous eye to get the final eye of this chapter. Create a branch and cut it to push it to the pit to grab the eye.
Chapter #4 – The Scared Pool

Location: After you cross the lake, the eye will be situated on a lower walkway. Create a branch and cut it to cross the walkway and pull the eye.

Location: After collecting the previous eye, create the branch again to cross the lake. Once you’ve done that, instead of jumping up the platform, crawl under it to pull the eye.

Location: The eye will be located in the area with 2 stream spawning points. Push the block into the small opening to pull the eye.

Location: This one will be located in the area with 3 stream spawning points. Draw the first 2 streams along the angled rock and use the third stream to push you to the right side. Grab the rope and jump over a ledge to reach the eye.
Chapter #4 – The Great Fall

Location: You’ll end up on some walkways after crossing the waterfall. Draw the branch followed by drawing the stream. You’ll have to cut the branch into the water to reach the eye.

Location: Get back to the previous area and create a straight branch. Create the stream so that you can jump on to the branch and pull the eye.

Location: After moving the tree trunk, hop over it and create the water stream. Destroy it once you reach a top and create a new one in the direction of the ledge containing the eye.

Location: Get past the tree trunk and create a straight branch to reach the platform. Cut the branch and create it once again in such a way that you could climb it to reach the eye above.

Location: During the vines and water stream puzzle, create the first stream and instead of going down, create the second one to reach the eye.
Chapter #5 – Getting Warmer

Location: After crossing the lava, freeze the fire enemy to hop over it and reach the ledges containing the eye.

Location: You’ll have to use water streams to get rid of fire gushes. Using the water streams, go to the area above and pull the eye off the ceiling.

Location: This eye will be located in an area above the lava. Instead of going right, use the water stream to go up and head left. You’ll have to create a vine and a branch to get the eye.

Location: You’ll come to an area with a lava spout and 3 fire enemies. Drop down to find some shining rocks and push a block to quicksand. Build a pillar and grab the eye.

Location: After you get rid of the gigantic molten enemy, create a vine and move up to see another spot for a vine. Create another vine and climb to the left side of it to reach the eye.
Chapter #5 – Chamber of Fire

Location: You’ll enter a room with a large fireball which you’ll have to direct in such a way that it opens up a path below. Head down and you’ll find the eye.

Location: After getting the previous eye, you will get in a room with loads of pipes. Destroy the first pipe and create a branch to direct a fireball to a small rock. The newly created stream spawn will lead you straight to the eye.

Location: This eye will be blocked by some pipes.
You’ll see a ladder near the pipes which leads straight to the eye. Get to the pillar spawn point which will take you to the ladder and eventually to the eye.

Location: This one is located in the room with the four Henchmen.
You’ll have to combine a branch with the fireball followed by cutting the branch to reach the sleeping area of these Henchmen. Throw the fireball at black block to reveal another branch spawn and get to the eye.
Chapter #6 – Mustacho’s Dungeon

Location: Take out the Bomber and the Henchman, cross the bridge, and go inside the room to get the eye.

Location: Open up all the 6 doors and create a branch. Cut off this branch and push it to the door on your bottom-right to get the eye.

Location: This one is located inside the top-left door.

Location: After you’ve found your brother, move to your right and go over the rocks to get the eye below a tunnel.

Location: Get down from the Felix trap and swing your way through the room to find the eye. You’ll have to create a vine to get to it.
Chapter #6 – Breakout

Location: You’ll have to connect a couple of vines to Felix in order to set him loose. You should consider connecting the vines in following manner:
- Connect the ceiling vine and grab it.
- Build a pillar.
- And finally, attach the right-side vine to get to the eye.

Location: After taking out 3 Henchmen, you will see another eye near the gate. Create a vine and use Felix to get to it.
Evil Eye #69
Location: Grab the previous eye and get back. Hop over Felix and get back to your left to spot another eye in plain sight; the camera will change during this sequence.

Location: After taking out the Bombers, don’t go to your right. Instead, create a water stream and use it to grab hold of a swinging rope. Turn right and you will get the final eye of this chapter.
Chapter #7 – The Tower

Location: The first eye of this chapter is unmissable.

Location: The second eye of this chapter will be located in the area below a Bomber. Drop down and pluck it.

Location: After you get separated from Felix, you will see the eye in clear sight. Create a branch and a water stream to get to the platform with the eye.
Evil Eye #74
Location: Before heading up the tower (using vines, branches, and water streams), you’ll see an eye near the branches spawn. Connect the vines and the branch and drop down to get the eye.

Location: You’ll see Felix going up the elevator.
Take the ladder in front of you and turn right. Keep on following this path until you get to a vine spawn. Create the vine and swing it to reach the final eye of the game.
