Warner Teases New Batman: Arkham Origins Story DLC

By   /   3 years ago

Much to the dismay of fans, Warner’s promised announcement for the New Year is a new DLC expansion pack for Batman: Arkham Origins.

I say ‘dismay’ because many of us were expecting an announcement related to the new Batman game that is being rumored to be worked on by Rocksteady.

Details on the new Batman: Arkham Origins Story DLC are slim at this point. We’ve only been treated with a teaser image of an awards event being held at the Wayne Manor. “The Wayne Foundation Humanitarian of the Year award,” reads the caption on the award figure standing on a table.

It though is half encased in ice, which makes it safe to assume that Mr. Freeze would be crashing the party in the DLC. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Warner drag in a few other villains as well.

So any guesses on why Freeze is interested in the Wayne Manor? Warner will probably release the information in the coming week.

Batman: Arkham Origins is currently available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U. The last DLC released for the game featured Bruce Wayne himself as he trains through a series of challenge missions to become the ultimate stealth predator.
