Looks like Sony’s last minute scrambles are going to continue for a little while more. As if they are really telling the customers not to expect the so called ready-to-go console, quite a few delays/changes have been made to the original plans. Especially the PlayStation 4 launch titles list.
With only a day left in the release of PlayStation 4 in Europe, two more of its launch titles have been delayed. Blacklight Retribution and Flow (stylized flOw) will not make it to Europe on November 29.
The news was confirmed at a post on the EU PlayStation Blog that detailed the complete launch titles list for the region. The two titles are missing from the final list and when the matter was questioned by fans in comments, SCEE Blog Manager Fred Dutton responded with a confirmation statement:
“Both flOw and Blacklight have been subject to brief delays. They should be with you next week, but I will 100% confirm the date as soon as possible.”
These two games had been announced as PlayStation 4 launch titles for the European region in the previous launch titles list.
The most downloaded PlayStation 3 game on PlayStation Network for 2007, flOw has been ported to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita by Sony Santa Monica Studios. It is a life simulation where the player takes control of a worm like creature in an aquatic environment, guiding them towards organisms that increase the cells in our creature.
Blacklight Retribution on the other hand is a free-to-play typical FPS by Zombie Studios that was originally released to Windows last year.
