Looks like the PS4 vs Xbox One battle is turning one-sided as far as sales victories are concerned....
Peggle 2 Delayed to December; No Longer Xbox One’s Launch Title
Originally announced as a launch title for the Xbox One, the physics puzzler Peggle 2 from PopCap Games has now been revealed to be delayed.
However, that necessarily doesn’t translate into a longer delay time. According to the developer, they are still aiming for a release in the Xbox One’s launch window. Meaning that Peggle 2 might still release this year and most importantly, in time for Christmas.
“Peggle 2 is a ‘launch timeframe’ title,” PopCap senior director of PR Garth Chouteau told GamesBeat. “But [it] will not launch day-and-date with the Xbox One — instead, it will become available a few weeks later in December.”
PopCap didn’t comment when asked about a definite release date but said to expect release this year. The developer also promised to keep their fans updated regarding the game’s progress and will release more information soon.
While Peggle 2 is still announced as an exclusive title for the Xbox One, PopCap has a habit of porting over their games on the PC platform later on. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare was also thought to be exclusive to the consoles; however the game has now been announced for the PC as well.
The Xbox One launches officially on November 22, 2013 for the price of $499.
