Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag PC 20% off on GameFly

By   /   3 years ago

Game retailers and rental service GameFly have revealed 20%-off coupons for the digital version of the PC release of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.

The PC version of Black Flag is set to release nearly a month after the game’s release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, around the same time as the game’s launch on next-gen platforms. Those who avail the coupon can get the game for $47.99 if they pre-order from GameFly.

The same coupon is also valid for Assassin’s Creed 4’s Gold Edition and Season Pass. The Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed 4 will allow players access to the game’s planned DLCs as soon as they’re available.

The price point for getting all the game’s downloadable content through the Season Pass is 20% less than what you’d have to pay if you bought all the DLC individually. Priced $80, The Gold Edition will include the Aveline mission pack as well, which is otherwise only available on Sony’s PlayStation 3 and its next-gen successor, along with the aforementioned Season Pass.

The GameFly deal is pretty neat, if you compare the price with the game’s digital release over Uplay, which is going to cost gamers the standard $59.99 and includes no bonuses. No similar discounts have been announced for the Black Flag’s digital launch; on PS3, X360 and Wii U, scheduled for later this month.

GameFly’s coupon savings are the cheapest way of purchasing Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag so far, though gamers will have to wait a month longer since the release isn’t simultaneous with the other three currently available platforms.

The 4th numbered entry to the Assassin’s Creed franchise comes out on the 19th of November for PC. Will you withhold your urge to dive into the Caribbean and wait for the PC and next-gen launch, or will you become a pirate on the 29th of this month? Let us know your preferred platform for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag in the comments below.
