Bound by Flame Also Announced For PS4

By   /   3 years ago

Announced earlier this year in March, Bound by Flame is bound to take the fantasy lovers in a charm with its demonic possessions and undeniably creative customization. Previously slated for a PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 release, the game will also be getting a PS4 version.

Focus Home Interactive has announced that it will be adding the next-gen console to the group of platforms that the game will be released to; and why not, by the time this game comes out in 2014 the next-gen consoles will already by a year into their life.

Bound by Flame is being developed by Spiders studios, the same guys who were behind Mars: War Logs.

The dark fantasy role playing game certainly falls under the Dragon Age and Witcher gang but it certainly has a vibe of its own. The protagonist is possessed by a flame demon, through the course of the quests, the mercenary faces crossroads between choosing the evil powers that the demon offers and rejecting them. So basically it’s a never ending good versus evil battle.

Now depending on the path (good or evil) you choose, certain scenarios in the game will be altered and the experience will be different. In a classy nudge at the graphics, the choices will also start to have an effect on the outlook of your character – the greater the demonic influence, the more his body will be transformed, and that’s Fable-ish.

So when the lead character could be a demon, what would the antagonists look like? Well, you’ll have shadow dragons, liches, undead and ice creatures for starters.

In the long run, it is a choice between the incontestably awesome but dark powers of the demon or the skill and true bravery of the players and the choice will be all yours.
